Over the past 15 years, Dr. Wilson has held various roles in both the private sector as well as academia, including teaching at some of North America’s leading universities. After earning his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Toronto, he served at the esteemed Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences, acting as a liaison between researchers and business leaders.

During that period, he taught advanced mathematics courses to engineering, business, and science students at McMaster University and the University of Toronto, while simultaneously pushing the boundaries on how to incorporate technology in the classroom.

After transitioning into the private sector, Dr. Wilson worked as a quant at a major bank, served as a data scientist at an innovative AI for drug discovery company, and is currently a Senior Software Engineer at one of the world’s pioneering quantum computing companies.
